On October 15th, the department’s Problem Oriented Policing team worked with the California Highway Patrol to arrest a suspect in Yuba County. The department said the suspect had about one kilogram of cocaine at the time of the arrest.
The two agencies then served a search warrant in Sacramento County. Authorities reported finding another two and a half kilograms of cocaine, about four and a half pounds of opium, 10 firearms, cash and other evidence they said pointed to drug sales.
