Lake County residents can ask local law enforcement how agencies use Flock cameras and what safeguards are in place to protect privacy at a public town hall in Lakeport on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026.

The meeting runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Soper Reese Theatre, 275 S. Main Street in Lakeport. Officials will explain how automated license plate recognition (ALPR) works, how local agencies use it to support public safety and what policies are designed to protect individual privacy. The discussion will also address questions and concerns from residents.

How to submit a question

The County of Lake is accepting questions in advance through Sunday, November 15th. Submit a question through the county’s town hall form.

The county says it will record the town hall and upload it to its YouTube channel for anyone who cannot attend.
