Crescent City’s second annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest is open to businesses and organizations within city limits. Entries are due by 5 p.m. November 30th, with winners announced at the December 4th tree lighting after the downtown light parade.

A little creativity in a storefront window could help Crescent City shine this holiday season. The City of Crescent City is inviting businesses and organizations to enter its second annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest, with winners celebrated during one of downtown’s biggest holiday gatherings.
The 2026 contest is open to businesses and organizations located within Crescent City limits. Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 30th, 2026.
What judges will look for
Windows will be judged on creativity, use of lights and a festive theme. Judging is scheduled for December 1st through December 3rd, with prizes awarded for first, second and third place.
The city’s announcement does not specify the prizes or their values.
Winners will be announced at the tree lighting following the Downtown Light Parade on Friday, December 4th, 2026. That gives participating businesses and organizations a chance to add their own holiday touch while families gather downtown for the season’s celebrations.

Participants can print the entry form shared by the city, pick up a copy at City Hall or request one by emailing [email protected].
Completed forms can be dropped off at the City of Crescent City, 377 J Street, or emailed to Recreation and Events Director Kelly Feola at [email protected] before the November 30th deadline.
